Ready to pull trigger - good prices in PA?

For an '05 TL, 6MT, Non-Navi? (The MSRP is $33,470 incl dest.)

What's a good price around here? What did you pay?

2K off MSRP is a good target.

I recommend that you try Jones Acura in Lancaster, PA. I got an '05 for $2,600 off MSRP last month. No hassle dealing on it either.

That's only $125 over invoice? How the hell did you do that?

demo 04 (2031mi)/AT/no Navi

I bought my 04 being used as a demo by one of the sales reps about 3 weeks ago for $17,259....uhm I should mention that the finance guy kinda forgot to notice that I OWED $13,041 on my trade-in and credited the full amount to me. An odd series of events made this oversight seem "logical" to me, until I sat in my car with the wife and went over the documentation. My sales rep, Patrick Fitzgerald - awesome guy, second car i've purchased from him and DEFINITELY worth a call - was happy that I picked that up, though it was absolutely NOT his fault (he handed me the notice of final payoff price himself). It was the kind of thing that gets noticed at the end of month ledgers and creates all kinds of havoc so it was better to deal with right then and there. Final cost was $30,300 and a bunch of repairs they owe me to some nit-picky stuff my wife noticed about the leather on the front seats. I'm a pretty big fan of Montgomeryville Acura and Patrick specifically (on their Nissan side as well).

That's still good. PM me with your dealer's name and yours if you want credit for the referral!

Jones Acura, Lancaster PA...$2000 off MSRP for 6MT, Navi. Also, they allowed me to sell my TL-S privately, and ran the sale thru their books saving me approx. $1400 in sales tax.

Try Davis Acura in Langhorne, ask for the Sales Manager, Joe. They give every other service free and free lifetime inspections. At least that is what I got when I bought my 03 TLS-Navi.

Compromise ...

i've purchased both my TL and an Altima 3.5se from the same guy there. Gave me $300 additional on my trade in just for asking a second time!!

I've found Patrick Fitzgerald (about the only guy there cross trained to sell both) to respectably "bend over backwards" to NOT oversell the car. I knew more about this car than most of their sales staff and he knew it right away. Didn't bother me with useless crap. Didn't try to convince me that this or that whiz-bang feature really made it "top shelf." Just let me drive the damn thing alone with my wife. Done deal.

My guys name at Reading is Mark Steltz 610.796.1900. He quoted low 31's for the 6MT w/o Navi (My wife has the quote at work). If you do give him a call, let me know so I can use it as a dditional leverage as well

Don't let them take advantage of you because of your age. Money talks, if they treat you poorly, walk out! Try another dealer and make sure you keep a record of every offer in writing so you can use it as leverage at the next dealer. Also, try and get several quotes from the internet and that way they won't know how old you are. Take those offers to other dealers and play them against each other. If you have the money for the car, that's all that matters. I got 3 internet quotes, and visited 4 dealers before I purchased my car.
