I am in the market for a 2005/6 TL and have found a local private seller w/ a 2006 black, 35,100 miles, factory installed body kit (not the full ASPEC kit), nav, interior in excellent condition. I drove it yesterday, drove great. Haven't had it checked out by a technician but I wanted to get other's opinions who have gone through the TL purchasing process. They want $18,000 for it, otherwise they'll send it through an auction. Assuming everything is in great working condition, what do you think?

what do you mean factory installed body kit but not the full aspec kit?

I'm new to Acura so I could be wrong but I have been under the impression the new kit comes with replacement rims. This vehicle just has stock rims. If this is not the case, and I could be wrong, then the kit could be complete. All I know it it's got a factory body kit on it.

I bought my '06 6MT with nav and 31k miles Last year in feb for $21k, sans TTL.

$18k is cheaper than my deal, SNAG IT!

make sure it checks out with a local mechanic and the car fax.
there are vin numbers on every body panel, make sure they're all the same!

if it checks out with an independent mechanic and has a good carfax history, i would go for it... this is a great deal provided both are OK

Shop around.

I looked at a 06 Acura TL in Redondo Red that was for sale at a local Volvo dealer. Had 31k miles it was loaded no accidents and they wanted $16.1k.

I disliked the red color otherwise it was a good deal. It went to auction earlier this week. I guess no one liked the red color of the car.
