Recently, when my range would get below 50 miles to empty, I would fill my tank. But on the receipt it shows the it took 12.028 gallons to fill it up. The manual says it holds 17 gallons and I know it's supposed to fill a little less than that, but 12 gallons seems way to little. Any feedback?

 

I wouldn't put much faith in the estimated miles left on tank thing.

 

Gauge is calibrated to less than full tank capacity, I think it's based on 14 gallons, if I remember right. It's done so you have a fuel reserve when you hit 0 miles left on the range display.
