I just realized that sometimes the # 5 & 6 preset light is out. Sometimes it comes back on. How serious is this?
Are they going to have to replace the whole radio or a bulb?

I've been driving my TL for three months now and just realized that I can press those # buttons to change the radio stations, all thanks to you, Michael!!!

 

The lights for the preset only come on when you have your parking lights or headlights on. I am no expert on radio lighting but I would think there is not a separate bulb for each preset but one light that illuminates the entire area. Some cars will light up to show you which preset the radio is tuned to, but on the TL the display shows that, so there is no separate light for individual presets. Is it possible there is some dirt or something on 5 and 6 which cuts down the light coming through?

 

No dirt. It is clearly a separate bulb. All the other lights are on except 5 & 6....
I will have to bring it in I guess.
