So my good freind got a 2003 mini cooper non "s". Lemme tell ya. Those suckers are Quick! from a 35 mph coast, we started. hes a manual, jumped ahead, and i started off in second. I catch up slowly and by 100 im 1/2 car length+ ahead and after i shifted to 4th he caught up lol. all in all it was fun.

 

Thats because they weigh nothing! Haha

The SC'd ones are insane! Next time, just nudge it a bit and it'll roll off the road!

what car were you driving?

I raced one with Exhaust and it was a 6spd and pulled.

 

00 tlp hehe is a freakin boat! lol the vtec pulled on him tho! 3.2 v6 vtec family sedan FTW!!!! haha

 

my mom has has a cooper s and im pretty sure it would smoke my 04 mt. either way, cooper s is way more fun to drive hard. mini rocket on rails...

 

It's not as fast as a 6MT base, although it would give a 3rd gen base 5AT a good battle! Probably just feels quicker to you because it's so small and light.

 

yea..it feels quicker but it's a high 14's car like a TL 5AT.

 

I am sure the reason why the mini cooper NON-S did so well against you is those heavy 18" wheels you have on your TL-P. I raced a Mini Cooper S mini works edition(200HP) from a roll and took him out by a car and a half from 15MPH-70MPH.
