Quick questions about PSF drain fill

My Amoil PSF arrived today via UPS and unfortunately I only ordered 1 bottle. My car currently has the Honda PSF as far as I know. I was going to suck out what I could from he reservoir with a turkey baster and then just refill with the 1 bottle of Amsoil PSF that I have so it would be a Honda PSF and Amsoil PSF mix temporarily until I can get more Amsoil PSF.

Would this be okay?

I wouldn't use anything but honda psf in there....I know their power steering fluid is "unique" and any third party product I've seen usually has 2 products one for honda/acura and one for the rest.

Honestly, I wouldn't even bother. You're going to need about 2.5 bottles and anywhere from 2 to 3 complete flush-outs to clear the system of all fluid and residuals. The baster method will only net a small fraction of what's required.

You'll have 0 issues if you decided to mix the fluids anyway, but I'd recommend getting the other two bottles and properly flushing the system. Two bottle plush shipping is $20. That's a case of beer, three days of bagging your lunch, or a few dinners of chicken instead of steak. Do it right.

As others have said the honda PS fluid is different than many other fluids and I'd stick to that. It's fairly cheap at the dealer! I used 2.5 bottles for a full flush.

I followed the instructions in the service manual to do it, drained out most of it with a fluid pump then took out the return line and put it in a empty bottle. Turned on the car and drained out all the fluid. Put the return line back into the reservoir and then filled the fluid and turned the wheels to get the air out of the lines.
