A Quick Question on Rear lights and Front bumper
I currently own an anthracite metallic 04' TL A-spec...I recently just saw the TL-S and the new TL's....i was wondering
1) do the 07 Type S rearlights fit perfectly with the 04 TL's? I had called into a dealer to inquire, and he said he wasn't sure, because a few years ago they did a rear light swap for an MDX and apparently the brackets or something didn't fit exactly, and he couldn't or didn't want to provide an answer for me....SO, i was wondering if they fit, and if anyone had dimensions for both etc etc...
2) I have pretty bad eyesight, and at night it gets pretty hard for me to see especially on the local road when there is no streetlamps...the foglights i see on the bottom bumper of the 07 TL's, is it possible to do that to my TL as well??
* of course the main question is if i can do both these things at the dealership, but if i can't I'd love to be pointed in the right direction for this.

1) Yes, many here have done it.
2) Yes, you can add driving lights. Maybe not the 07 ones, but there are many aftermarket choices.
*The dealership probably won't be very helpful for this, but you could try. They might swap the tails for you, but I doubt they will install aftermarket lights.

did the tail lights, working on the fogs right now
Did the tail lights & side marker lights from the TL-S last weekend. (it was VERY easy.) took about 1.5 hours total for all 4. (including removing the rear bumper & putting it back on)
I am working on installing the fog lights right now. you need to decide though what you are going to do for control of them & what to do about the existing)
I am adding a separate switch in the dash (in the "blank" to the right of the mirror control) using another "VSA" switch I ordered from the dealer. (I am going to do the switch mod descibed by several members) I am using then '05m accord 4 dr fog lights I got from ebay, but you could definately use driving lights instead to assist with seeing at night.
FYI - mine is an 05 so everything is the same as yours. (also Anthracite as a matter of fact)

Does anyone know for sure if a dealer is willing to swap em? I like to get every thing done at the dealer because my original service center is in NY (Rallye) and i'm currently in Saint Louis for school... not to mention I don't know any good places to get these mods done since I don't have screw drivers nor the proper space to do light swaps and fog light inserts properly
I am in St. Louis
PM me. I am in St. Louis and for a case of beer would be willing to help you swap them. it is REALLY easy. just takes a little time. Took me about 1.5 hours a week ago to do mine. (now that I know what I am doing would probably take close to an hour total.
