Quick question...
The dealer I bought my car from installed a front plate holder for his advertising purposes. In my state you only get a rear plate, and I don't like the way a front plate looks on this car. I haven't taken it apart to check, but I am assuming they drilled 2 holes through the front bumper? If so, I am stuck with it.. huh?
They come on the car actually, however it's common for dealerships to put their own 'advertising' on the front of your car. If they didn't throw the two plastic caps in your glovebox when you bought the car, go back to the dealership - they should give them to you since they're supposed to be part of the vehicle.
That is the first thing I did was to remove the front license plate. I own ASM '07 TL Type S and just simply removed the plate and went back to the dealer to get the fill ins for the holes that were the same color. Now it looks sweet.

My buddy bought an 07 civic si and the dealership drilled a whole into his bumper. Not a whole provided by Honda, but an extra whole. The dealer had the nerve to say that it came like that from Honda. These aren't the factory clips/wholes that are filled with the cap, but a single drill whole in the middle of the bumper.
In VA here. What are other people doing to place their front license plate somewhere else besides on the nose of the car? My friend put it on his passenger dash, but.... anybody mount the front license plate elsewhere?

Drilled a hole completely through the front bumper.
They tried to be some ho's about it saying that is how they do things here and is common practice. Then offered to have it filled in, sanded, and then painted by a body person that comes once a week and does this all outside of a paint booth.
First that is just sloppy and would trash all in the paint
Second I know there has to be some kind of law not allowing car painting with out a both with proper air ventilation
They finally caved in and said they would take another bumper of the next car coming in before they decide to drill a whole into that bumper and give it him.
And not to slap one of the sponsors for Acurazine it was a DCH dealer.
