Question for those in Vancouver

I'm looking to buy a A-Spec Front lip from either Middlegate Honda or Northshore Acura (they are doing that Honda parts sale right now). Problem is that both dealerships don't have the lip in SSM (closest is AM). Anyone out there know where I can get the part painted and around how much $$$ it will cost me?

THANKS

for the money you spend to paint the lip, might as well get the matching lip from the states.

Just to let you know, they list the front lip from 04-08, but they sell you an 07-08.
Happened to me, I gotta go return mine pretty soon. They (Northshore acura) were giving me heck, cause I wanted to do a return cuze I own an 05.

yeah, buy it from the states. Middlegate had my color for the front and sides. I had to order the rear from the states. duty paid is only $30 cdn. still a much better buy than from here and then have to paint.

I got mine from them as well...got the whole kit painted for $425. So just for the front lip, i'd say about $100 (or a lil more).

I got mines painted from where the dealership take their work - Gord-Ron's Auto in Burnaby (604)433-6444...and i'm very happy with the paint job they did

Nice to meet other local owners. We picked up an '05 MT 3 weeks ago. I'm considering the Sport aka A-Spec suspension that's also on sale. Any of you currently running this set up? Would you be willing to meet up so I can see what it's like in person?

The one that's on sale is for the Type S M/T and A/T. I believe the Type S is heavier and thus the car will not sit as low as it should. It will technically fit, but may not look right. Some ppl have purchased the M/T set (lighter car) and used it on the A/T (heavier car) to make the car lower. I would assume the opposite would happen for you if you use a setup meant for a heavier car. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

I personally would never buy something not made for my car ever again. With my previous car (98 Accord V6 AT), I bought suspension for a V4 which technically would fit. A year later, one side was higher than the other. I imagine this is the only reason for that....

As for paint, go to Starlite Autobody in Burnaby (604-438-9898)

Welcome to Azine, Speedy! Just heads up...Acura langley is selling their M/T A-Spec suspension for $548 (+ taxes )...this was last week when i called them. Their A/T A-Spec suspension ISN't on sale (go figure)...but ALS2000 is right, from what i've read, the M/T A-Spec suspension will make the car sit a lil lower anyways. Hope this helps

To tc...don't mean to hijack your thread...and hope your search is going well!
