Question on a-spec lip

front lip on my 04 needs re-paint. how do i keep the 2 tone on it. is there a paint code for the grey middle part? or are you guys just painting the entire thing body color?

pics would be great

Are you painting it or bringing it somewhere? If you are painting it, just mask it off. If you bring it somewhere, I'm sure the shop would know what to do.

yeah if that grey part didnt have scratches i could, but that needs refinishing too

Yea, I got scuff and scratch marks on my grey part too cuz I hit the concrete thing in the parking spaces. Any ideas on how to fix those marks?

they should be able to match the paint, most competent painters have the knowledge and experience not to mention the resources (paint codes etc)

let them handle it, all you gotta do is say "hey man, paint this part this color, and repaint this part in the same color it already has"


guess what, if they mess it up, they have to fix it

DIY, if its the grey part.
If you have scuffs and scratches, just use fine sand paper and sand it.
If its bad, use bondo to fill it and then sand when dry, then paint.
I just did mine today.
Front and back.
I have NBP, i did the front and back black as well, but you can tell its still two tone.
I like the all black look.
