Start at basics --- is the 2003 (2nd gen) TL anthracite metallic the same color as the 2004 (3rd gen) anthracite metallic?

Is the new "dark grey" (polished metal metallic or maybe its carbon gray pearl?) lighter or darker than the previous anthracite metallic?

Got the answer to my first question - but does anyone know if the polished metal is darker or lighter?

 

Both colors are darker than anthracite. Hope this helps!
