Question Need help purchasing OEM brake pads

What is the correct part number for the latest FRONT OEM brake pads for a 04 6MT TL? Are they the same part number as the 05 to 08 TL “S” pads?

Due to continual brake squeal I have decided to purchase OEM pads this time.

I would purchase via Acura eStore, but it appears to be disabled for parts right now. I can get into the Accessories side, but get error messages when I attempt to go into the Parts side, even when go through the Owners Link.

I have also tried unsuccessfully to find the “Sponsor Links” on this web site. I would think that they would be included in “Quick Links”, but they aren’t. They are also not anywhere on the “Off Topic” page. And Prestige Acura, listed in Off Topic Sponsored Forums, also uses the “disabled” Acura eStore for parts.

The last time I purchased front brake pads I was sold the pads for the standard (non-Brembo) brakes and had to return them - so I want to make sure I get the correct pads this time, especially if I purchase them on-line. I could just go down and pay the full $205 for pads, but I think I should be able to buy them on-line somehow.

If I sound frustrated it is because I have been trying unsuccessfully to purchase pads for about a week now.

Have you tried the Duralast Cmax pads, I did this last week, 0 squeal if you have enough grease on the shim and the back of the pad. I couldn't be happier with the price, performance, no squeal and best of all almost no brake dust. The OEM brake dust was horrific.

This should help you out. I recommend ceramic pads so you don't get as much dust. Just click on the option with the Brembo's

BradE,
Thank you for the the help. Pads are already on order.

It is interesting that I could not get to the correct pads on the web site you provided unless I used your link. I had tried their web site before, and even tried again today without using the link you provided but knowing where I was trying to go to - and I thought I was computer literate.

Thanks again
