I think i am going to be replacing the clutch soon. 160k 2nd owner.
1. i have noticed a lot of free play at the top of the clutch. when i go to depress the clutch the first 2-4 inches feels like no resistance at all like i could easily press it with my finger those first 2 to 4 inches. i am not seeing any slippage but i am not trying to make it slip or even tested for slip. any ideas? it drives me crazy the way it feels
2. best place to source parts for the clutch? recommended brand?
3 rough idea on cost of replacing the clutch at local dlr and/or local shop?
