Does anyone know how many inches between the Rim and Rotor I need to install an aftermarket Brembo Kit??? I really need to upgrade it, because the little rust i see from between the spokes(on the rotor and caliper) annoy me!!! Also something that will complement the silver would be nice as well.

Don't like rust? Get carbon fiber discs. I think they are like a 10k option for porsche.

Most discs are made of iron and will rust.

I've got Brembo's and if I don't drive the car daily I'll get rust on the rotors. As soon as I drive the car the rust goes away. Iron/steel+moisture=rust.

What model and year is your car ??? Do you have stock or bigger rims? Get some Power slots. They are cadmium plated to avoid rust.

Some Expensive cars used to have more nickel alloy in the disc and as such would not rust that bad.

Several years ago, I asked the questions to both Raybestos & Wagner sales representative about the rusting problems on most of the cars and pointed out to them the on Mercedes and Porsche back then did not rust that bad.

I never got a reply.

Since we are in a capitalist environnement, money is the first commandment and screw the disc quality as long as it does not warp or break and the car can be stopped in a relatively safe distance.

what u can do is take off the rotors and sand down the area and spray primer on it and then get some high temp paint and paint it. make sure NOT to paint the area that contacts the pads.

rotors will rust.
