Question about Window Tin

I went to Auto Image in Raritan, NJ and they said that the door panels are tight around the window and that it would scratch the inside of the tint. that it would only be noticeable on the inside not the outside. Is this true and how do I Get around this?

Search first....moleskins....plus; wrong section sir! Just messin' with ya man! lol.

Welcome! I see this is post #1 for you here! We have all been there ourselves. I suggest checking out the 3G Garage section for most of your common asked questions....you can find a link to it in the index at the top of the page. You can find just about anything you wanted to know here about your Acura....so feel free to ask anything - but search around first...cause most of what you would want to know is probably here somewhere!

tint

On the newer cars, most have a strip right inside the top of the door panel that the window rides in. You can take the door panel off, take that hard plastic strip out and put felt on it and reinstall it. Sometimes, you can spray a cleaner (like Pledge furniture polish) on the tint to make is slick inside. I haven't tried it, buy my tint guy tells me it works great.
