question about warranty

hi i am fairly new to this forum, and i was curious if going into redline a little will void the warranty. thanks in adanvce. also i tried searching for void, warranty and redline.

No, hitting the redline does not void your warranty. If you were to over-rev the engine, it would. BUT the 5 AT is designed so that the driver can NOT over-rev the engine.


There may be a provision in the warranty that denies a claim if you've "abused" your car. In an extreme case (running at red-line intentionally for a prolonged period, for example) might be considered "abuse".

it is a 6 speed. and i just tapped the redline for a short time on accident.
