Question about tint

My TL came from Texas and has tinted windows - I believe 20%. Does anybody know what the legal limit is in Texas? How about NC (where I live now)? I googled it and can't find the most current laws for both states.

35% here...do a search for the NC DMV and you'll find out all of our wonderful laws regarding vehicles.
