Question about side view mirrors

I have searched and haven't found anything so i thought I would ask if anyone else has a problem with their side view mirrors fogging up on cold mornings? If so what are you guys doing about it? I wish they were heated!

They are heated, Button is on dash. You might also try reading the manual.

There is a little button that for some reason doesn't have a light but it heats the mirros. G'luck!

Definitely heated..comes in real handy. I do have another question though about the mirrors..they seems to get really dirty, more so than other cars I've owned. I've had to pull over and clean them at one point yesterday. Could it have something to do with the tinting and does anyone have any suggestions on keeping them clean? Would Rainx work?

Just bought new bottle of RainX today... Will let you know. On past cars however... YES, the RainX helped on the side mirrors....

I do not feel these mirrors get any dirtier than any other exterior glass surface - why would they?

Oh yeah - RTFM!

Actually I can explain why the mirrors can get dirtier than other glass. Think about the wheel arc when you turn the front wheels under power. My FWD and AWD cars ALL fling crap on my mirrors in sloppy conditions. I have an arc of mud and slush on my door right now on my daily driver from where I was gassing it and turning. The snow and slush are pasted in a visible tangental line from the tires circumference where you can see the arc of slush on my doors panels and fenders and continuing to where it intersects my mirrors and then on to my side windows but shadowed by my mirrors which blocked some of it.

Think about it for a minute! Mud flaps help a lot but can't do it all.

I've had mud flaps on every car I owned and never had this type of problem with dirty mirrors. I know it's minor, but I really have a tough time looking thru the spots. They actually look like a drinking glass that went thru a crappy dishwasher. The spotting is really bad. I'm going to try rainx and see if it helps.

Gump - I have the same issue. Mirrors are absolutly filthy....we are neighbors so maybe it has to do with all the rain we have been getting and the salt on the roads

Thanks! After 7k miles you would think I would have noticed it by now, I guess it just isn't needed much in SoCal.
