My 1994 Legend has 70,000 miles. I think it rides rougher than it did last year, but its hard to tell as the ride is not crazy bad yet.

I had the shocks checked and they are not leaking. When I bounce the car while parked and release it after pushing the car down ... it returns to level quickly.

Is there some way to know the shocks are worn out, and that spending $1000 on shocks will improve the ride and handling significantly ?

 

first you might be in the wrong forum. second are those the original shocks?? at 70K it might be time to replace them if they are. even tho you pushed down on the car and it bounced back it could be just the springs bouncing back.
