how much lower to the ground does the kit make it ?

you will be fine...it gets lowered about half an inch...please correct me if i am wrong lol...but i think u should be fine...wait for the ronjon kit to come out (www.ronjonwheels.com)...it's a lot better and that is only half an inch lower than the oem kit...

 

i wouldnt worry about scraping. i have my tl lowered and have the body kit and have never had any clearance issues.
