question about leased acuras

yesterday while speeding i noticed the speedometer being stuck at 110mph and the rpm stuck at 4,500rpm. are leased acuras electronically limited? if so, this sucks, no way im buying out my car. a few nights ago i coudlve sworn that i have been going beyond 120mph, but cannot be sure 100% because of the blurry memmory, but im pretty sure im right.

so my question is, why the hell was the speedometer stuck at 110mph and the rpm at 4,500, neighter of them moving. i held it like that for about 5 seconds, and then slowed down because what was happening seemed so weird.

Of course not.

Maybe another "blurry memory"? WTF are you doing driving at those speeds anyway when you're in a state that you can't remember something like that?

I suppose I was fortunate, because when I was 19, I had a car with a top
speed of 90 mph, otherwise I would likely have killed myself and/or others.

I got my kicks on motorcycles, safer to others on the road since they mostly
bounce off cars....

If your car is limited, I think that is good, and it should be set lower.
Its quite crazy 19 year old kids running around in 160 mph cars.
The parents must have loads of life insurance on these kids, one person
close to me has an M3.
I figure his parents really want to get rid of him...

Smoke some pot, drink some beer, go for a spin in the M3....

Hey, Dr. Murdock - Is it possible that you are using less than 91 Octane in your gas tank? I remember reading here that someone put Regular gas in his tank and saw a similar result to what you are seeing. It seems that the TL will sense a lower octane and limit the RPMs to prevent engine damage.
