Need a new ballast for my 05 TL and found some ballasts for $100 but are labeled for 06-08 TL models. My concern is isn't the 05 and 06 model the same? And if it is for the 07-08 models, I was wondering if it will fit my car.

06+ model ballasts wont work for 04-05 as they are smaller in size.


05 model TL can use any of the following listed ballasts.

02-03 TL ballasts
04-05 TL ballasts
04-05 TSX ballasts

 

You can buy a complete HID kit for cheaper than that..
