question about HFL w/ T610/T616

for those of you who have the sony t610/t616 the address book contains 1 name w/ multiple entries. for example:

bob
home: 123-123-1234
work: 321-321-3210
cell: 789-789-7894

when the phone is paired, how do you make a call to bob's work number? u press the button and say call or dial. for example: call bob. how do you make the system call bob's work number?

You have to reprogram all of the entries directly into the TL if you want to use the HFL to dial. However, you could use the voice activated dialing from the handset, too. However, that would not be as cool. LOL

First you would store all those numbers (Bob, home, work, cell) into the cars phone book. When storing the number the car will ask you to say a name for that number. When done entering all the number all you will have to do is say dial, the car will ask for a name or number. Just say the name (Bob, home, work, cell) and the car will call it for you. Hope this helps.

2) there's no way u can dial names of your phone's address book?

You can also remove one step by saying "dial Bob's home, work oe cell" and it will pull up the number to confirm.

There is no contact list/phonebook sync'ing between the BT phone and the TL, unfortunately.

It's a manual input of names and numbers into the TL's proprietary phonebook.

Anyone have trouble with the initial setup of the T616 phone? I bought one yesterday morning and its been charging all day. Number is set up, sim card is installed etc. Even if I disconnect to test it, it doesn't even turn on.

Thanks

Please ignore my last message as the phone has started to work. However the manual said 4 hours and it took 13 hours.

I believe the phone book can store up to 50 numbers.
