I just picked up an 08 ASM tl and the cover that slides over the cup holders seems to be missing. the interior and exterior are immaculate the car seems to be in really good shape. Ill get pics up soon

Yes it's def supposed to have a cover.
Probably the last owner put too much weight on it and broke it? Or simply removed it?

Mine along with a few others have broken because of the plastic that holds it together flexes a bit to much and breaks. It's about 30 bux to fix and will take about an hour at the most.

Mine was broken too. I found this clip in the center console and had no idea what it was. Turns out it was the handle to that cover. And a few weeks ago when I opened up my dash I found that the cover was just laying inside, behind the cup holders. Doesn't really bother me, I find it kinda stupid.
