when you guys are baking, taking apart, etc. to take out the amber (orange) plastic cover in your headlight, are you then leaving the stock bulb it has in there? or are you replacing it? thanks guys... i am doing it this week.. i just wasnt sure.. thanks

 

You have to replace it with a bulb that blinks amber to keep it legal.

 

the stock bulbs inside the headlights light up clear, not amber. The amber reflectors are the one outputing the amber color.

so you'll have to replace the bulbs with amber color.

ooo thats what everyone on the forum is doing...for some reason i thought they were just leaving them stock, because in all the D.I.Y.'s no one ever mentions replacing the bulb.. which is odd.. but thanks guys

 

I actually used a silver bulb that lights up amber, so with the light off, there's no yellow
