I have a question about the auto-lock feature. My TL is on order and will be here at the end of the month. Is the auto-lock feature, where the car locks itself after putting the transmission in Drive, configurable for each user? My wife likes this feature, because she doesn't have to remember to lock the doors. I think it's too annoying and would rather do it myself. Plus, it reminds me of a lot of Ford and GM cars.

 

Yes you can manipulate it based on key fob ... your fob can be set to no lock hers can set it to lock when she shifts into 'D' or when she hits 10 mph. The same goes for unlocking it at the other end ... Good luck with your new car .. you're gonna love it!
