Question

I have a question for the people who installed the splash guards by themselves on their TL.
It says to use wax prior to installation on those areas. Is it neccessary?

Do you mean will the earth come crashing down upon your head if you don't? It won't, but you will get more protection if you put a good coat of wax on before you install the splash guards.

Are you asking because you already installed them and didn't put any wax on? If so, they are very easy to take off, clean the area well, put the wax on, and put the splash guards back on.

I got my sales manager to give me a set of the splash guards for free. I'm planning on putting them on today. I think it looks nice with NBP.
I also wanted to know if other people did wax the area or not.

I waxed the entire car with 4 coats of Zaino while I waited to get the mud guards back from my local body shop. I had them painted to match the car.
