question

ok i know that this has been beaten to death, but im too lazy to search the threads. is the moleskin needed on all FOUR windows? did anyone NOT get the moleskin put in and have no problems with scratching? does anyone have pics of their scratched tint...i would like to see how badly scratched the window gets W/O the moleskin. and if anyone could give me some names of NON-metallic tint, i would appreciate it.

thanks

I would use the moleskin if you plan on tinting all windows or even the rears. Most tint shops charge about $25/door to install it or you can do it yourself. A lot of shops use Llumar, 3M, Formula 1 or Madico. Those are a few of the namebrands and I believe most are mettalic.

If you have NAVI, I would recommend Formula 1 Pinnacle which is ceramic and will not interfere with it. Some folks have said they had no problems using mettalic and some have said they do.

There are a lot of threads concerning this topic. Free Moleskin. Check this one out. cvajs will hook you up for the cost of postage. PM him for more info.

As far as pics showing the scratches, I don't recall if any has been posted.
