Pulled the trigger
Hi All,
I finally pulled the trigger on an 08 Alabaster TL-S. I have been fortunate to have some very nice vehicles and none have compared to my 2003 CL-S Type that I sold in 2005. For the money (end of year pricing was ridiculous) I just couldn't justify $40-$50K on the on the other cars that I was looking at (335i, 300C SRT-8 and M35).
The TL-S is just too much car for the money, considering that I drive about 3K miles a year.
Some of the will written post here provided me with great info to assist in making my decision.
Thanks,
Ben

That sounds exactly like myself. I could not justify the cost ($50,000) for buying a BMW. Very nice car, but not so much so that it warrents a $20,000 higher price tag. I got a NBP 2008 TL w/ NAVI 6 miles on the car for $31,600. After tax it was $33,900. The BMW would have been $49,000 OTD!
And I'm sure the new TL that is coming out later this year is going to be very very nice, but I could not pass up getting this car OTD for less than the invoice price! Dealers are dying to get rid of them due to the new model coming out...and the fact there is a $2,000 factory to dealer incentive looming out there .
