Pull the Trigger on 08 TL?

So I've been searching for some time and found the WDP and Parchment base w/ Navi 08 new TL I've been looking for. The dealers around here in PA aren't budging on the price at all.

The offer I got right now is $30,549. Should I do it? It's basically the car I WANT. I know I've seen some people make some better deals but it's not that easy to just slash $1k-$2k.

Well Should I?

i paid 30,500 for mine about a week and a half ago. to be honest i think its a great price. not sure where you live but here in Cali that is about as good as you can get especially if you car about the color combo you get. if you get it i'm sure you will enjoy it!

i've seen a lot of people talk about their "deals" but i'd like to see them scan there invoice in so we can see how true they are. its really easy to talk on a forum.

You can't really compare price from another location & another time .... you can use these info as a reference to what you can negotiate down to, but ultimately it comes down to at what price will you feel comfortable to pull the trigger .... now granted there will always be some better deals out there somewhere, but you can't beat yourself up for those .... be happy with what you get ...

Price is good. Is it the best-no. But....as long as you can get the car you want in the color combo that you want and you are happy w/ it and comfortable knowing that you are getting a good deal- pull the trigger.

also remember that tax differs in every state, as well as smog so that might increase the price depending on where you live.

the selling price now is a good deal with the cash-back and low finance rate but i guess i'm just hung up on getting that elusive great deal.

on another note, it was raining/snowing up here in PA and after i left the dealer, on the way home, the wind knocked over a tree 30 yards in front of me. powerlines started exploding. do you think that could be some sort of sign?

Yes, I totally understand about getting that elusive deal. That's partly holding me off on my purchase as well. I don't know if you are flexible with interior/exterior color choices but if not, then you may have to ask yourself if it's worth saving a little more to lose on a color combo.
Also, I am curious to see if Honda/Acura is going to have additional cashback after the current deal ends on November 3.

Thats a sick deal. I don't know what your worrying about. People pay 34500-38500 for a Type-S not including taxes.

Nearly got the car but got hung up on different finance terms. A little higher rate and longer term because of my good but little credit. There isn't a prepayment penalty which from what I understand means I can pay off the car earlier and pay less interest/finance charge overall. I'm trying to get a grasp of all these numbers before actually doing it.

Considering that we are near the 30th day of October I am sure that the dealer will call you with a better offer. At least that's what I am telling myself...

Great job. I got mine for a little less but I spent 2 days looking & time + miles driving is costly. Enjoy.

Congrats! Did your price include the extended warranty? Also is that the Acuracare warranty?

Warranty was extra however but covers bumper to bumper.

Congrats! That deal is not bad at all and IMO it is better to pay a little more $ for exactly what you want than to keep shopping around to save just a few more bucks, but possibly losing the car you want in the process.

how much did you pay for the extended warranty/whats the coverage terms...many dealers overcharge for this, Hondaacuraworld.com sells them the cheapest

Note: the warranty you bought is refundable so if hondaacuraworld.com or any other dealer is selling it for less you can always do it

i got mine from sussman. i got 6yr/75k for 1090, looking on hondacuraworld.com they are selling it for 650... hmmm... so i can return it and get it elsewhere? after getting the warranty i was debating whether i would really need it. i figured on a big purchase its better to be safe than sorry.

Nice car!

Now, I need to figure out whether I want WDP or NBP TL or go with a 09 TSX...
