I'm bringing this back to attention here. A Gates water pump used for only 14000 miles on an 07 Accord V6 started leaking, posted by a member at driveaccord.net . Evidence pictures here.

FYI

I used my Honda OEM water pump for over 220,000k miles. Basically 1 water pump for 2 T belts... 03 Accord 3.0L.

Had a Continental water pump (T belt kit) that started leaking at around 50k miles... 2g TL.

I know this thread is old asf...but...

Just because Gates might be the OE supplier doesn't mean their aftermarket belt is the same as the one sold at a Honda dealer.

The part labeled and sold at Honda dealers is likely a much better part for one reason or another.

Just a PSA.

That goes for any part on any car, really. There's no substitute for the genuine part in virtually any case.
