Hey guys really need help.

You can get a replacement fuse at any autoparts store. Walmart would have them also.

There is a fuse box in the kick panel on the floor by the brake pedal. Check the manual to find out which fuse controls the interior lights.

Pull the fuse out that controls the interior lights and check if the the little piece of metal inside the fuse is broken. If it is, then the fuse is blown and replace with the same type. Use the number printed on the fuse to find the correct one.

yea it could deff be that you blew out a fuse. when u take the cover off the fuse box, the back of has a layout that tells you wish fuse is what.

If you like doing electrical mods such as lighting and audio it ll be wise to invest in a test light. its a screw driver looking tool that has a sharp pointy end and a wire on the other end.

you connect the end of the wire to a ground (any part of the body of the car) and one by one test the fuses, or wires.. if there is power going to them the light in the test light will light up.. a great way to check all your fuses without keep taking them out and putting them back in.

welcome to AZ
-cheers

Thanks to both.

It was a blown fuse so i went to a local auto parts store and bought a few of the same exact fuse. atm 7.5 amps. When i put in the new fuse my homelink and key started working again but my lights still wouldn't turn on. So i was going to just see if i could put my old ones back in but while i was taking out my first light, it lit up. I then kept that one in and then moved onto the others. I blew the fuse again the next light. Is there anyway i could still use these lightbulbs without blowing a fuse?
These are the ones i got.

You think these only work for the type-s? That would suck.

Bump up to a 10A fuse If it continues to blow the 10a fuse, then trash the bulbs.

Try messing with the metal wires sticking out the bottom of your new bulbs and move them around. LEDs on ebay are cheap but will work just fine as long as you have the patience to mess with them. I just recently replaced all of my interior ones without blowing any fuse. Make sure all the lights are off before changing them out, if its on and you plug the bulb in, that causes a current surge = blown fuse.

And damn $31 for 8 bulbs. Glord!!! I bought a pack of 10 from ebay a year ago for my bike's license plate and i only paid $8 shipped to my house. Whoa!! talk about inflation.

And oh, never bump your fuse size!! Its a good way to burn the whole circuit. always stick with what is recommended. those 168/191 LEDs bulb are made specifically for your interior. Also the same bulbs works on your license plates too. Very pretty at night time.

I skimmed over the ebay listing quickly but I did not see what type or size bulbs these are. They may not be the right size/type bulb for what your putting them in. It looks like you bought 8 of the same type of bulb. Is that correct? What type are they?

use this link to find out what type of bulbs you need for the specific location you are putting them in.

IMO, this is best site for buying led bulbs. Buy the good stuff first and they will last longer.

well the listing is saying that the bulbs are for the doors, front dome lights and rear dome lights. All those bulbs are 2825 size bulbs so they are saying you are getting the correct size.

I really dont know what else the problem would be. These are the bulbs I bought for those lights. http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/G...-p6638587.html

They work fine for me and no problems with blown fuses. Maybe buy 1 pair from them and see what happens. Good luck

LED's must be installed one one way or one direction, as they are a diodes. Try flipping the bulb around and plug it in again (with power off). Then try them.

OK THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM, in between the two front dome lights there is a switch that turns them off all the time which is when it is pushed into the left. Then, when you even it switch out (think seasaw) they turn on when you unlock or open a door. THEN if you do what i did push the right side they are on all the time. Damn i drove all the way home with 'em all on looking like an idiot. I was trying to hide behind my tint but it didn't matter is was so BRIGHT

All interior lights are size 168/191. Looks almost identical to the oem bulbs but in LED version. Ur eBay listing does not show the bulbs size u r getting. All it shows is u r getting 6 LED bulbs. Idk what u r doing wrong but I just did mine 2 days ago and have NO problem whatsoever. I did 9 total. 2 front dome, 2 rear dome, 2 front door, 2 license plate, and one trunk. Not a single fuse blown.
