Probably going to catch hell for this...

I sold the TL on August 26, 2013 to buy a 2013 Honda Accord Sport. She had 85k on her when I let her go. As low as the miles were, I was getting to the point where I didn't trust the ol' girl any more, and multiple electronic gizmos were starting to tweak.
So far, all I miss is that punch you get when you slam the gas pedal down. Everything else, to me, is better in the accord. Heating and A/C work better, ride is more composed and comfortable, stereo seems better, seats are way more comfortable, and gas mileage is great, in comparison.

Why not get the V6 touring? Because it was like $10k more than the sport! I'm 23 years old, I'm not made of money! Haha.

Surprised regarding the improved audio, doesn't it only have 4the speakers? Sport over touring for the looks and 6mt! Best stock rims on an accord.

I had bought the TL on June 1, 2011, with 42xxx miles on it, for $21k. I put 40k on it in two and a quarter years.
I bought it because I had just gotten a promotion, and because my Ex bought a new car,
Same deal with the Accord, New job, and new Ex bought a new car. HAHA

Maybe something was wrong with the TL's stereo, but I could never get it loud enough to cover my own voice while singing. True that the Sport only has four speakers, but they still seem better to me. And maybe I'm just weird!

Im not surprised with the better sounding audio, the ELS surround sound system on the TL which i believe was standard sounds ok but doesnt have enough power. Plus factory audio on cars in general has steadily improved throughout the years so a 2013 SHOULD have a better audio system than an 06 for example (ofcoarse considering the cars are in somewhat the same price range when new). Btw I highly recommend the lip kit, here is my older brother's on accuair bags...

I like it! Any way you can find out where he got the window visors? I can't seem to find them anywhere!

The Accord looks very nice- congrats on the purchase- your TL looked like an 07/08 and with 85K miles on it, that's not too much. What electronic components failed?

Typical hands-free link failure, climate control screen would flicker on and off, alternator seized up, memory setting were going a little crazy, heater and A/C didnt work very well, fan made noise, windows were loosening up. All little things, but all expensive. Plus all those damn rattles. FML, they pissed me off.

Oh, and its an 06 with 07/08 tail lights. If anyone wants the original 06 tails, let me know. They're in a box in my garage

I love the new accord sport. Only thing I don't like about it is that you can't get all the sweet tech features which is too bad I think. It's the best looking accord model, but you can't get it loaded. Either way you woke catch hell from me because I think you made a nice choice. Congrats!!!

Well being in Medford, I'll probably see your car at some point. Mine is a white '13 EX-L.

We have good taste

Good luck getting one, I tried and it was a minimum 4 month wait for one in white.

Even the EX V6 in white is a PITA to order.

It's not though, thats Honda's biggest problem at the moment. The Accord makes the TL and especially the RL look pointless.

$34,000 Touring V6 with some extra sound deadening and good tires makes many more expensive sedans seem like a big waste of money.

Acura is really going nowhere these days. They have fallen way behind their competition as far as I'm concerned. Seems like most of the reasearch and developement is going into Honda now, and it really shows with the new accords. They are very nice cars.

acura is pretty lost now a days. They have no good products. They're trying to market the RLX as a premium luxury sedan. A KIA has more options and luxury for half the price. For 60k, that car will not sell. I have not seen 1 on the road.

All this talk of Honda and Acura. I agree with most.

However. Go feel the interior of the RLX and then go feel the new Accord. The only reason why I wouldn't consider a new Accord is because the interior build quality it just not the same.

Love the new front end though. Those headlights are gorgeous!

I also paid $28,000 for an EX-L. I could buy TWO loaded Accords for the price of the RLX.

I would hope the RLX would be WAY above and beyond the Accord!
