Pricing help for a 2008 TL w/ Navi

I'm looking to buy a new 2008 TL w/ Navi. I got a price offer of ~30,400 before TTL and including destination. During my research, I saw that someone was able to get one (also w/ Navi) from a Torrance, CA dealer for 29,770 - so I was thinking of waiting a little bit. What do you guys think?

I believe there is a thread that lists new owners and the prices they paid for their TL and TL-S cars.

$630 is not a whole lot, if you can get the car you want in the color you want.

I know - I looked through it, but there weren't many non-Type S TL's w/ Navi bought recently. Thanks for your input though.

Good price IMHO. You can probably get a better price if you wait but you run the risk of not getting the car you really want i.e. exact color combo.

Welcome to the forums btw.

Like what was mentioned above, don't wait too long if you find your color/transmission combo you like. I know for the Type S, once they are gone, they are gone! Good luck with your purchase and welcome to AZ!!

30,400 is a steal for a 36k dollar car....but yet you want to sweat them out for another 600 bucks...i think you should wait...one less tl on the road of many...

That's a great price - congrats! Was this from a dealer in Houston?

Yes, John Eagle Acura off I-10. Went through the internet department and spoke with Brian Simpson. Told him what I wanted and that's the price he threw out, didn't have to haggle or anything!

Hey guys. Are these prices for new or certified 2008's?? I am currently considering a certified '08 with 13k miles and navigation for around $30,900 before TTL. That was the first price that the dealership offered, which I would negotiate downward.

At the same time, I also think that I can get an '07 Type S with similar miles for the same price (under $30K in my local area)...and this is the decision with which I am struggling.

Please let me know about the '08's Thanks.

Wow. That an impressive price for a new one!! I know we're in different parts of the country which greatly affects the price if these cars, but maybe I should be thinking of a lower number to offer them than what's on my mind. I was thinking that negotiating them down to $28,000 would be a steal.

I would make a lower offer, if they don't like it all they can say is no.

Damn... that included your trade-in too? Some of you people make me sick.

Good luck with trading mine in. I can't even refinance it to a lower rate through my credit union since I am upside down in my loan.

Maturity Date: 8/22/2012
Payoff Amount: $23,564.26
Good Through: Today

Bought 09/06 - '04 SSM NAV (with CPO )

I am looking at purchasing my first Acura--I have been Toyota/Lexus person for past couple of cars. I have a quote on 08 TL Navi with 3,500 miles for $28,900. Also, I have received a quote on new 08 Navi for $30,800. Would you buy the new or used vehicle? What do you think of the price on the used vehicle?

Thanks for your help!

It's only a $2000 difference so its going to depend on whether you absolutely wanted to be the first owner of the car or whether you dont care if someone drove it 3500 miles before you, honestly it can go both ways in this case.
