Price pay for underbody kit at dealer
I gotten a quote from an Acura dealer for the TL underbody kit for $1200 includes labor and parts before tax. Is that a good deal?

I got the full underbody kit and wing spoiler for $900 or $1,100, installed...so around $1k (can't remember specifically).
You can get the underbody kit for $800 shipped from a vendor here and install it yourself (saving $400) or pay someone (not the dealer) to install it and save $200-300.

I thought about ordering it online which would come close to $900 with shipped but Iam worry about the product arriving to my door if it is the right color/cheap paint, damage during shipping, ect. I dont want to deal with that hassle which has happen to me before, especially with my luck.

The vendor I was referring to is HondaAcuraWorld...he's (Tim) is a sponsor of this site. He regularly sells the underbody kit for $800 shipped. Since he's an Acura dealer, it is the genuine Acura product with genuine Acura paint...it also comes with a warranty (1 year). INFO HERE

1) Everyone who orded the body kit, whether from HAW or another dealer on eBay, had it shipped and they arrived without incident.
2) See if your dealer will match online pricing.

If you call the parts dept of your local dealership and ask them to price match the prices found online, they generally will do so. I did it and got it for the same price as hondaacuraworld w/ tax included. Plus, I don't have to wait for it. I'm picking it up tonight and plan on installing it this weekend. I heard the bumper was a pain to install though.
BTW, can someone provide the link to the DIY install of the kit? I'll search for it, but maybe someone has the link handy? THANKS.
And once the tires wear down, I plan on getting some 19's...and my TL will be complete!
