Predictions re Replacing Bridgestones
Eventually, Acura will replace all of the problem tires with the retooled Bridgestones.
But, what about the people that didn't wait for Acura to resolve this problem and went out and bought new tires?
I can't see Acura reimbursing these people.
So, what's the answer?
A bunch of these people get together and file a civil lawsuit.
Acura loses the lawsuit and has to payout millions of dollars,
most of which goes to the lawyers!
The Acura owners get a $5 coupon towards the tire of their choice.

That's the problem with class action lawsuits. The best thing to do is to submit a letter to the BBB, Service Manager, District Manager, and Acura Headquarters with your complaints and include a copy of your receipt demanding reimbursement and see if they respond favorably.
Of course, if you never made a stink about the tires from the get-go and just replaced the tires on your own accord you probably won't have much of a case.
However, if you raised hell about the vibrations/flatspotting and the dealer still wouldn't acknowledge the problem, I think Acura has an obligation as a good ethical business to reimburse you for any costs incurred in getting new tires.

I've called Acura in CA about 4 times re: vibration. Everytime I call, they say "I dunno anything about it, duhhhhh". I do understand there are perfectly fine TLs out there; but if you want to grab Acura's attention, why don't you talk to a news paper reporter and mention all these problems and how you were given run arounds?

You'd be surprised how disinterested some newspaper reporters are about these problems. I'm sure with the due diligence required in that field, reporters are more reluctant to jump the gun on these "problems" that manufacturers might have. (Especially with that recent bout of false reporting in the NY Times).
