no, people need the milled one so it will work with the 04-06 TL.

Who is going to machine it? That's the issue here. Pete was the one who was doing this service and he no longer does it. I would check and see first if someone can machine it to fit 04-06 TL's before going out and wasting 62 bucks.

Ah ok. My dealership said they'd do it free of charge if I brought them a blank.

Does the guy not know what hes talking about?

It's one thing if your dealer will cut it and program it for free. Will they machine/mod it to fit the 04-06 TL?

I told them my situation and they said they would. I specifically told them I had a 2005 TL.

BTW, this dealership in AZ said they used to sell a bunch of these blanks to some guy in FL... and this guy recently stopped buying the blanks in wholesale. Sounds like FLBUsa!

I've had my TL-S for over a year now, and The the key silver trims are fading. Like the unlock/lock/drunk are no longer silver outlined, but rather black. Is there a way to refine the key?

the only way i can think of is to change out the button pad.. but then im sure you'd have to buy a new blank (~40)
