Well it looks like I'll be taking in my 05 TL today to get the power steering pump, tank and hose changed.

I guess they found out what the problem was and have to change out my power steering pump to kill the noise its making. that whining noise when i turn the wheel. but yeah it's gonna cost me $487+tax 8.75% coz I'm no under warranty anymore.

Just giving you guys a heads up on some bullshit! haha

but please note i will be hard driving the loaner.

you need to make some phone calls right away!!!
The ps hose recall -gives you new hoses for free
If there was a leak already- that will cause pump problems due to low fluid level
Speak with the SERVICE MANAGER about this.
Also call acura 1-800-382-2238 x5- open a file and ask for a manager to call you back

There is a differance betwen car normal warranty and RECALL related parts failure

 

i did not know this. they said its not part of it.. i'm going to talk to the service manager.

 

My 04 tl makes the same noise and after draining a replacing power steering fluid, I was told a new pump was needed for about the same price. I think I will take the car to Acura next and see what they say about the hose recall and this noise being related. Thanks for the good info 01tl4tl.

it seems that when they did the recall on your car they did not replace the O ring on the pump is part of the recall.
