Posting pictures of Clear Bra on Anthracite

I finally got it done! After putting almost 7000 miles (and collected a few dings here and there already) on the car, I finally was able to sync up with Jeremy from Invisi-Guard in the bay area (Santa Rosa)

I was impressed with the area of coverage, as you can see, it extends over the front 1/2 of the hood.

Jeremy can be reached at 707-328-5865

Keep in mind I have not washed the car, it was done 2 days ago.

The edge of the clear bra is quite visible when you stand next to the driver side door and look forward. When you stand in front of the car, you can't really see the edge

The coverage include the hood, full front bumper, fender, and mirrors

You can see where it ends on the fender

Some people have asked about the edges, and no, it does not "wrap" around the edges. You can see that in this image, there's probably about 1/4" gap. I don't think that's such a big deal.

This was done by Invisi-Guard up in San Fran Bay Area. They charge $595.

Overall I was quite happy with the service, and Jeremy was quite professional. It took him about 3 hours, and you can tell he was clearly very experienced. He told me he had done this for over 3 years now.

Ask him about his ride, he's got a WRX STi that puts out 350 horses...

Pictures aren't showing up for me. I'm considering getting this done, but would really like to see how it looks on your car. Can't be sure if its my settings or of the pictures are no longer working at all.

Clear-bra area does look shinier than the non-bra part but is the junction line as obvious in real life as your picture? I would hope it would be near invisable.

All of the seams in those pics do not look good at all. Every install I've seen has no gap at the seams and much less visible lines. Maybe your car is just dirty and makes it look worse or something.

All right, clarification. The car was dirty when this was done, I had just driven home from LA to SF (400 miles on highway - dead bugs on the windshield). For the install, of course the surface was cleaned thoroughly. Therefore, the back half of the hood is very dusty, thus you can see the clear difference between the area where the bra was installed vs. normal surface (dust, pollens, rest of crap). Of course I can't wash the car yet, I must let the film fully cure.

I parked the car purposely so the sunlight would shine from the rear of the car (late afternoon sun, light coming in at an angle) , which would make the edges of the film as visible as possible. I didn't think it would be very exciting for you all if I posted some pictures where you are left scratching your eyes wondering where the clear bra was...

It's not visible from the front at all, and standing from the side or rear of the vehicle, you probably won't see it unless someone pointed it out to you.

I'll take more pictures next week when I have had a chance to wash the car and wax it.

Yep, post some more pics when it's clean. I wasn't ripping on it, just comparing to other installs I've seen. I still don't like the gaps at the edges, as that would bother me just because I knew it was there.

I was getting defensive, huh? =)

I have seen other members post their "clear bra" picture, but I could not see where the clear bra was. I positioned and re-positioned the car many times so the sunlight would show it the best... ha ha!

Will post new pictures next week.
