True I'm just waiting for moda_way to confirm if the fcc code on the frequencys match

I don't see a problem have my dad make 10 or 15 out of key blanks, then I can dispurse those to those who want to do it.

Trading the car in for 07 sounds like a better idea. Who cares what tail lights you have on or if you have mirrors with turn signals. Bottom line, you can't make an old lady look pretty .... Trade your car and you will have it all.

I have an A-Spec Suspension, Body Kit, Wheels & Lip Spoiler. Thats enough money invested into something that will last me for another few years. I will wait for the 4th generation to come out and then consider trading it in. SH AWD, thats what Im waiting for.

Still love you all.

I'm first in line.
Now that I'm thinking about this, it will be trivial to disassemble your existing key, remove the RFID chip, and then install it somewhere in that new housing. This'll be easier than the accord mod.

Thats my plan now we play the waiting game. I just new to see the key and check the #'s. No dealers here in SD have the 07's in yet for me to check.

put it this way, with a good hook up, and I mean GOOD, you could get the front and rear bumpers, tails, and smoked rear side markers for about $1200-1300 not including paint.

The bumpers come painted from the factory... provided the TL-S is offered in a color you already own. This of course does does not compensate for paint batch mis-match variations.

Ooops, there's another rub too. To replace the front bumper, you HAVE to replace the grill (it's bigger), AND the fog/lower grills. All that's gonna cost more that $1300. I'd like to meet your hookup.

All this is way too complicated and insanely expensive. I will just wait till something better comes along and buy it, rather than purchase it piece by piece.

Wrong, you cant order bumpers pre-painted. Only a-spec body kit comes prepainted.

The keys is the least expensive item and is most wanted, i can definately see a group buy on this. only thing we just need to confirm is if we can make it work.

According to lembowski with a laser key blank we can't cut it into our standard keys.... so what can we do?

Tell him not to laugh too hard.... for an '06 TL with Nav and A/T, it's not $35k... it's $31k, which is what I paid... that's about eleven thousand dollars less than the MSRP on the IS350 with Nav (and Lexus aren't really motivated to make sweet deals)

First I don't think it will work on our older navi systems (as a stand alone), you will still have to use the DOM converter. So you might as well get Wendy's camera

RBF351, thanks for the all the part numbers.

One more, the lip/deck lid spoiler for the Type-S?

Also, do you have list prices for all these part numbers?

deck lid - 74900-SEP-A20__ the 2 blanks all depend on the color

i have no prices, i get that the same way everyone else does, the dealer sites, but it doesn't look like they have pricing or even a listing for these parts yet.

Yes... this is correct on the ballasts... they changed the ballast size from the 04-05 to the 06 version. The 06 version is much smaller and the headlight housing changed also because the mounting locations changed due to the smaller ballasts. If you check the part numbers of the headlights between 04-05 to 06 you'll also see a change there.

thats means people with the 06 TL's can easily swap their headlights, 04-05 will need to buy everything except for the bulb

Why would people swap the headlamps to begin with? There wasn't a change from 06 to the 07 was there? I don't see any.
