somewhere i heard that for every 100lbs you remove from your car, your 1/4 mile will be 0.1 seconds faster. I guess the only practicality reason to remove the spare is when its track day. Also, there are better ways to lose weight... like a Braille battery

oh i realized why so many people voted yes to keeping the spare in the trunk. a majority of the drivers here(and in the general public) drive Auto. There won't be much of a change in performance no matter what mod you do on an Auto.
