Police & FBI looking for a black TL
I'm watching a news conference on CNN right now about the robbery & murders of two armored guards in Philadelphia this morning. They just mentioned that the getaway vehicle was a newer model black Acura TL.

Okay, so I get the humor in this thread...and I will admit, I chuckled a little at a couple of posts. But, let's not lose sight of the fact that two innocent guards were murdered today as a result of this crime.

The surveillance tape show a black TL with silver wheels 04-06, but the picture being distributed is showing a 07-08 TL-S.

As for the guy who wrote that we should take into consideration the two guys that were murdered, why is it that if someone laughs about the TL being in a chase, is it looked upon as no one cares about the guards that were murdered? Why do they go hand in hand? Sometimes you guys get too serious on this board. This thread was not about a moment of silence for two wrongfully slain guards. This is an Acura forum thread about the TL involved in the chase. I am sure that no one in their right mind looks at this as "score one for the bad guys" because they are driving a TL. I sure as hell don't. So please relax on that guilt trip stuff. Those were some funny posts (including the ones about me ya dorks - hahahaha!), but in no way are they indicative of the way the corresponding posters felt about those two guys that lost their lives, nor was it a blatant disregard for their loved ones left behind. Just trying to keep things in perspective here before it gets out of hand. We are all adults here.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled program!

Just chillen..
My question is how the hell the police know: that Police said Thursday night that they believed the car to be an Acura TL sedan, possible a 4-door "S" type that is black or royal blue in color and has a sunroof as well as an XM Satellite Radio antenna.
They had to add that in there, yay that is one big clue..

It would be interesting to see how the TL raps around the telephone pole at 100+ miles an hour from an Ariel shot (after a interesting 1 hour high speed chase in which no other property is damaged). I hope they catch them and the helicopters there to capture the action.

Have you noticed in a lot of high speed chases they are talking about excessive speeds of 80, 90, or maybe 100 mph (too much gas and you are there accidentally in the TL). I remember seeing that black corvette hit those trucks and disintegrate years ago and at the time they said he was going 160 mph. On spike this past week I saw it again and they said he was going 120. Maybe they are trying to hide the high speeds.

Does anyone else find it "curious" that:
- Ray hasn't been around all day;
- AND is within driving distance of Philly;
- AND drives an NBP TL;
- AND has new wheels to pay for;
- AND has said he is "saving" for ANOTHER mod.
Is that a LOT of "ands" or is it just me?
