Plug-and-Play HID Fogs Not Turning On

So I bought a plug-and-play 9006 Kaixen 6000K conversion kit for the fogs.

However, after plugging them in, they won't turn on.....

Any ideas??? Thanks..

try something temporary and see if that fixes it.. i read somewhere that you need to

but for the record.... HID foglights is like eh... cancelling itself out.

T-Dogg.. Use a temporary ground and power wire and run direct to the battery - just to test - and make sure your ballasts and ignitors are working ok. If the stuff works fine, then it's probably the voltage or power going to the fog lights, in which case you would need a relay

Basic Relay setup; the relay should have the following wire/connections:

Ground
Constant Power
Activation Switch
Switched Power

The setup would be something like:
Ground to chasis ground
Constant power can go direct to battery [in-line fuse might be a good idea]
Activation switch would goto power wire for stock fog wiring
Switched power would goto power wire for ballast/ignitor pack

Since we know what the ground does i'll spare the details, but the rest should work as follows

Turn the fog lights on, the stock power wire which you have hooked to the relay 'activation' lead gets power and throws an internal switch, filling the gap between the constant +12 (which goes no where until switched) and the power output wire, aka your ballast power wire, providing +12 to your ballasts and lighting the gas.

as for a temporary fix just change the 10A fuse to a 15A one. if im not mistaken the HIDs run exactly @ 10 amps. then you would have to run a relay.
