hey guys,

im a new comer..been a huge fan of the 3gen since it dropped in 04.. and Im in the process of buying a type S .. just doing my research and trying to see if those prices can drop a little..
if anyone can help me out and give me some tips..thanks

questions:

1) what date is the best time to buy a 07type S?

2) what deals should i aim for or look out for?

3) navi or nonavi?

i know these might be dumb question or questions been ask already..but i need help to make my decision..

The best time to buy is when the '08s are arriving and they're trying to unload their '07 stocks. Type-S only comes with navi and see if you can qualify for the special APR financing.

 

1. PRETTY SOON...there aren't all that many left. They have great finance deals now on the remaining '07 models and you may have to act soon if you want to get the color/trans combo you really want.

2. Aside from the obvious (best price you can wrangle) Get the dealer to throw in as many accessories as you can talk him into.

3. NAVI NAVI NAVI! The Navi includes hands-free Voice Prompts for a lot of the other functions aside from the Navi itself. Once you have it, you will love it.

4. I personally recommend you get the 6MT. It's so much more fun to drive, but that's my ppinion...not saying the 5AT isn't also great fun. Just MORE fun.

 

1.The 07's should probably be cheapest now, or in the next month, when the 07's are getting low in stock, I guess.
2.Not really sure on the Type S but I think someone got it under $35k.
3.Type S only comes with Navi

 

welcome to the forums! like others have accurately pointed out- now is just as good as time as any to jump on a smokin deal on a 07. Some members have even got as low as 33.5k. IMHO, anything uder 35k is a good deal ( before tax & fees). All Type-S models come w/ Navi standard.

 

There's a $1500 Manufacturer to Dealer Incentive right now. No reason you shouldn't be able to get it for $1000 under invoice (if not $1500). They're still making close to $1000 once you factor in the Holdback...

and as far as getting a 6mt..kind of tired of stick in this miami traffic lol..
i have a 99 civic with a type R swap, just trying to law low from tickets lol..and i think the TL is perfect for me..sporty on the outside and luxurys in the inside

 

Go find a 2007 TL Type S NOW and buy it. BUT get a manual if you can. Unless you want

a car that is kind of BORING get an AUTO. Get get one NOW...
