Pleasant Surprise in the Mail
I come home from vacation and a little box is waiting for me from Acura. 
It's from Wood Dale, IL. I got my 2008 Acura TL new in October 2008 (so it's been about 7 months).
I was just starting to miss my car too after spending a week in Taiwan.
Of note, there are no Acuras in Taiwan, let alone the TL (there used to be older models). Also, I noticed that almost every car was tinted. Even Sentras and Camrys were tinted to not just 30% but to 5% or even mirror tint.

I bought my TL in September and got those same mugs at the end of April. I thought maybe it was for my birthday which is May 1st, but maybe it's just a 7 months of ownership gift. Whatever it is, I think it's cool. They're nice tumblers.

Lucky bas**#$ ... LOL .... I want some of those too ... then again, the way i was bargaining with my local dealers, they were crying foul all the way to Acura HQ, let alone getting me something for free ...

I got my brand new Type-S for almost the same price as the sticker on a non-Navi base model. I figured any package from Acura would have been an addendum bill. The cups were a nice surprise.

I didn't think about this at the time but now that you mention chairguru, i did receive mine around my birthday in April. Coincidence!?!

I want some of those too. Anyone know where I can get them? I checked eBay, but only found a couple of ceramic mugs. My cup doesn't fit my cup holder. If anyone knows where to get these (online preferably) please let me know.
I don't feel special anymore, no mug's for me......

I received the same two mugs as well last month. Bought my car in October '08. At the time of purchase the dealer also gave me a coffee mug and small thermos. I think I now have enough to fill all the cupholders.
