Plasti-dip

I have an 08 tl....the darker silver/grey

Im thinking of plasti dipping the emblems in black....

Anyone experienced? Also should I do the silver trim on the hood or just the emblems?

There are some pictures in the photo section and if you google diy plasti dip you should find some threads where members have shown off their dip.

Also, have you try doing the shadow chrome dupli color kit? Wat better than plasti dip imo. I just did mine but have to do the A-bar again since its a tad lighter than the rest

These plastidip threads come up now more often than "will this wheel fit my TL" threads.

Here's a shot of my grill after dipping it, put some cardboard behind the grill or tape off the holes and it's a cake walk. By far my favorite mod to my car so far, I am not a fan of chrome.

Here's my grill, dipped, not glossed. I like the "floating" look.

That floating emblem grill looks amazing. I will have to do something like that to mine in the near future on a warmer/nicer dry day.

everything that I have plastidipped, eventually was replaced. I suppose its not a permanent aesthetic mod.
