Pissed off! Another unhappy dealership story - Rims
I noticed flat tire on Sunday. I was at car wash and noticed passenger rear tire was very low. I immediately took a measurement and it was at 15PSI. After washing, waxing and tire dressing(for about 2 hours), I stopped at gas station and filled air up to around 38PSI. This morning it was at 32PSI and I took it to dealership today.
I heard about dealer rubbing rims before but people at service desk seemed nice enough so I didn't stress "please dont scratch rims". After I got my car back(I was waiting for about hour at dealer), I checked rims immediately.
What the F * & K. The exact same tire (Passenger rear) had thick black rubbing on end of rim.
It is BLACK! I'm not perfect driver and I have rubbed rims before and they are WHITE. Not BLACK. Also all my previous rubbings are now on left side of car because tire was rotated at last oil change.
Front Left
Rear Left
I immediately went back to service advisor and said there is BIG BLACK RUBBING on my rim. Service foreman came out and looked at with me. Of course he denies it. He said if service man did it, he would of told him. I asked him. As you can see, I waxed my car and I still have tire dressing on them. Why do u think this rubbing is BLACK while other ones are white? He couldn't answer that question.
Now he told me to talk to service manager on Wednesday.
How are we doing? NOT GOOD!

was the rim perfect ( i mean no scratch)? if it was, check on ebay. it should be there by now. always sign the inside of your rim before you go in with a perm. marker. Sorry man. ask for a new one.
