Picked up my new '04 TL
Picked up my new '04 TL
Picked up Dark Green Pearl 6 MT non navi with Camel interior this morning. Made the move from my '03 350Z 6MT. Said my goodbyes to the Zcar a bit "teary eyed".
My 1st impressions of the TL;
1. The clutch is much higher in the TL
2. The pickup in the TL is impressive
3. The torque steer is minimal
4. The ride is very smooth and comfortable
5. The stereo is light years ahead of the BOSE
6. My car was turning heads even in the parking lot of the dealer
7. I better keep my eyes on the speedometer or Suffolk's finest will be after me. Whoa baby!!!!

When did you officially place your order? It's obviously a heck of a lot easier to get without Navi. Having placed my order the end of January for the EXACT same car with Navi, I still have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks.
Oh, and once again, it's Deep Green Pearl
DMZ I placed the order on March 9th and they found one at another dealer.
Tlud the reasons I traded the 350Z were:
1. I grew tired of the car being garaged during the winter months
2. Had a scary incident in Dec, slid across4 lanes of highway
3. Just became a Grandpa and my daughter said my grandson would not ride in the Zcar
4. I was fed up with Nissan and the tire feathering issue.
Numbers 2 and 3 were the main reasons. I had the car for 18 months and only had 10,323 miles on it, I did get it up to 125mph once but ran out of room so I had to ease back. The car handles , in good weather, like a knife through butter.
I just drove my TL a little over 100 miles. Smooth ride, but still getting used to the high release point on the clutch. The car has balls.
