I pick up my new TL-S tomorrow. WDP $33848 + TTL. Locked in the incentive on 9/2 just in case the incentive was reduced. The new incentive would allow an additional $1,000 off. Dealer is unable to secure the additional marketing money as he reported the VIN sold to Acura to secure the incentive in effect on 9/2. Any thoughts?

 

excellent buy. enjoy the car. however, i dont know what to say regarding the incentive.

 

I thought the September incentives was 3500 off? August was 2500... what do I know, I havn't been shopping =P

Thanks for the note! - the dealer said I could take advantage of the $3500 incentive on a different car, otherwise I would have to stick with the $2500 already secured. He does not have another TL-S with Taupe interior, only a silver navi. I still think $3,000 difference in price between the Navi and the Type is worth it...

 

your paying quite a bit more then I think you can purchase a tl-s for. I purchased mine in May for 31,8xx plus ttl. That was with the 2.5k marketing support money. With 3.5k money now I would think 30,8xx would be my target if I were purchasing today. Good luck. Don't think for one minute you have to lock it in cars like the TL are not a hot ticket right now.

 

Guys would you please tell me where you live at? Im in LA and the absolute lowest miracle final price you can get a dealer to drop is like 36K(im talking miracle here). WOW 33k that woulda been nice.

 

I am excited - I bought a silver navi in 2004 (sold in 2006) and have been itching to get another. I have only seen 1 WDP Type S driving by the dealership (it had the 18" A-Spec chrome wheels). It looked fantastic! I have not seen my car yet - 3 hour drive tomorrow to bring her home!

What state are you located in (I am in Kansas)? I could not find a WPD anywhere in the midwest with Taupe interior - that might be why I could not secure a better deal. $31,800 is an incredible price!
