First, Hi. First post here. Hope this thread isn't too old to bump....
I'm looking to purchase a new TL also, and my color of choice is Abyss Blue. Looking at the photos in this thread, it looks like the metal flake in the paint could vary from car to car. Personally, the less, better, imho.
I'm a bit curious about the interior trim options. On the Abyss Blue, the only leather options are Quartz or Camel. So, with the Quartz leather, you get the silver trim, right? And with the camel, you get the faux wood, correct? No way to mix them around, I assume? Probably wouldn't look right to have the silver trim with the Camel leather anyway.
Anyone else got any pics of Abyss Blue? I'd love to see them! There doesn't seem to be many other pics in the gallery.

zipflint, you're right about the interior trim; the quartz comes with a black/silver trim, the camel with a woodtone. It's not real wood, but according to most evaluations I have seen it's probably the best fake stuff on the market.
Tough to find the blue pics, which I am interested in as well, that or Redondo Red. The Desert Mist (gold/bronze colour) is growing on me as well. It seems like all 'official' pics are silver or desert mist (i.e., the lighter colours). If I had to guess it's because the light colours are considered more "photogenic" from an artistic point of view.
If I happen to run across any blue pics though I will send them your way. You might also want to try **********.com to see what they have posted there. Cheers!

I think both the Camel and the Quartz have the Silver interior trim pieces allong the sides of the center console. The Camel offers the wood-like trim on the doors and the middle sections of the center console. The Quartz has carbon-like black trim in those locations.
I liked the contrast of the wood-tone and went with the Camel.
Get what you like.

wow, I like that purple TL!
I wonder how much does it cost to paint the whole car in a unique color...
I have Anthracite/ebony, and I know they don't make Blue/ebony so that color would be nice. or purple/ebony...
I think it's cheaper to paint the car, than to replace the whole interior...
what do you think ?
